Improved Footpaths for Ashford South East

George Koowaree, County Councillor for Ashford South East, is pleased that Kent County Council and the Ashford Joint Transport Board agreed a scheme to improve footpaths in Ashford. Funding for this scheme has come from revenue collected council tax from second homes in Ashford.
George Koowaree said, "I am pleased that this money will be spent on footpaths as they are in dire need of repair. I am delighted that a large proportion of this work will take place in my county division of Ashford South East."
Other areas in Ashford that are likely to benefit from improved footpaths are: Heathside, Appledore, Forstall Green in Ashford and Faversham Road Kennington.
