V4K Online Consultation

The Vision for Kent (V4K) is the Community Strategy for the county, all about improving the economic, environmental and social wellbeing of the county over the next 20 years.

V4K is a document delivered on behalf of Kent Partnership, which includes partners from the public, private, voluntary and community sector.

The V4K is being reviewed this year with a view to launching the draft document at the Kent Partnership Conference on the 18th November 2005. This conference will be an opportunity to discuss the draft and will be followed by a twelve-week consultation period.

The review of V4K is not starting from scratch: KCC are using the existing V4K as a basis for review, as well as drawing on District Community Strategies, District consultation results, resident's surveys and information provided by our partners on the Kent Partnership.

KCC wants your thoughts on the draft Vision. Don't miss your chance to influence and shape the Vision for Kent. The review is being led by Frances Martin, Head of Community Planning at KCC, on behalf of the Kent Partnership. Frances can be contacted by telephone on 01622 696201 or email fran.martin@kent.gov.uk

KCC are now reviewing the Vision with an online consultation. This is your opportunity to comment on the new draft Vision. The online consultation runs until 14 October 2005.
