Sharon Bowles MEP, who represents Oxfordshire in the European Parliament, has welcomed the news that HRH The Duchess of Cambridge has chosen to be patron of the Art Room in Oxford.
Sharon Bowles MEP said:
"The Art Room is such a worthy recipient of royal patronage and with the Duchess of Cambridge's background in the arts, I think she will make an excellent patron.
"With all eyes on London this year for the Olympic Games and the Diamond Jubilee, it is great news that a small Oxford-based charity has got the recognition is deserves."
