Geoff Rowe, County Councillor for Malling Rural North East
(Malling Rural North East - Wouldham, Burham, Ditton and Aylesford North & Aylesford South, Walderslade, Bluebell Hill, and Eccles)
My early career was spent working in social care, education and youth and community services. I am currently supervisor of students with YMCA College.
In 1995 I was elected Borough Councillor for Tonbridge and Malling representing Aylesford until 2007. I have worked as the elected County Councillor for Malling Rural North East for ten years. I am deputy party leader and group chairman as well as party spokesman on the Communities Policy Overview Committee and Personnel. I am very involved in my local community as Chairman of the Opportunities Through Leisure Community Youth Association, Trust Board Member of the Hospital of the Holy Trinity in Aylesford and a member of the Parish Partnership Panel for Tonbridge & Malling, and the Tonbridge & Malling Joint Transportation Board. I was also appointed to the Authority by KCC in 2003.
