Malcolm Robertson was elected to Kent County Council for Maidstone Central division in the elections of 4th June 2009. Malcolm beat sitting Conservative councillor Jeff Curwood by a margin of 1242 votes to take the second seat in the division, joining Lib Dem Dan Daley on Kent County Council.
Malcolm said:

I will do my best for the area and look forward to working at Kent County Council as a part of the Lib Dem group who are now the official opposition on the County Council."
